Boarders & Riders’ Houses Rules

  • All horse owners when riding your horses please use your own riding equipment as well as your own grooming supplies.
  • We recommend to all horse owners to enroll your horse in a maintenance plan that veterinarians offer for deworming and vaccinations. Otherwise keep and follow your own records. Farrier visits the school on regular basis or by appointment.
  • No supervision is provided for children or adults horse-owners when riding their own horses without instruction. Do not leave your children unattended.
  • Please keep saddling and bathing areas clean of tack, brushes, halters, and manure. Clean after your horse’s mess.
  • After bathing a horse, please turn faucets off.
  • Students and horse owners please wear an appropriate riding gear such as long pants, riding boots or shoes with a small heel and a helmet. Students who do not bring riding boots or long pants …sorry but won’t ride.
  • Helmet is a must for all children. All students please, bring your own well fitted helmet.
  • Horses are feed at the same times each day and their general diet consists on alfalfa cubes and concentrate. Please, do not help yourselves to feed animals.
  • Do not give treats to somebody else’s horse. Carrots are okay.
  • Stables are cleaned once on a daily basis from Monday through Saturday.
  • If you have not cleaned a stall before and want to do-it-yourself, kindly ask for instructions. If you want to replace or add new bedding (shavings), we strongly recommend buying your own bags of shavings for this activity.
  • Take care of the tools and put all the tools away where they won’t cause tripping hazard
  • When turnout your own horse, please limit your time to 20-30 minutes. There might be others interesting in using the ring.
  • Do not play in the barn area or around horses.
  • Pasture is the designated area to play and run. If there are people riding, please be careful not to scare horses with balls, running and/or screaming along the ring.
  • To ride a bicycle or scooter children must wear a helmet. We do not recommend leaving your children unattended while driving them. No bicycles or scooters are allowed in the barn area.
  • Watch your speed either if you are entering or leaving the farm. There are always…children at play!
  • Please, tell and teach your children to take care of the school belongings such as riding and grooming equipment, trees, fruit trees, and furniture. If you have a question, any problem or a complaint, please do not hesitate to contact us personally.
  • We are here to serve you and the facility is for the enjoyment of all of us. Thank you!

Board Rates:

  • Daily and Full Board: Call for details
  • Board must be paid in advance. It is payable on or before the fifth day of each month. NO REFUNDS.
  • A late fee of $30.00 will be charged for payments made after the due date.
  • Horses are feed twice a day and at the same times each day. Their general diet consists on alfalfa cubes and concentrate.
  • Stables are cleaned once on a daily basis from Monday through Saturday.


  • Extra feeding: Bring your own and we’ll take care of it.
  • Dispensing supplements: No charge!!!

Riding Attire:

  • Equestrian helmet (well-fitted), SEI Approved, meets ATSM standards.

  • Long comfortable pants.

  • Riding boots: They have smooth soles and a clearly defined heel. approx. one inch heel. Leather or rubber.

  • Leather cleaner and/or conditioner
  • Small towel.
